Furniture exports from Latvia down by 17.9%

Print versionIn the first four months of the year 2008, furniture with the total value of LVL 24,006,000 has been exported from Latvia, which is by 17.9% less than in the respective period of time in 2007, informed Agriculture Ministry's Department of Forest Resources.
The largest volume of furniture – worth LVL 4.65 million – was exported to Germany. Furniture of LVL 3.18 million worth was exported to Denmark, LVL 2.47 million worth – to the United Kingdom, LVL 1.92 million worth – to France and LVL 1.61 million worth – to Sweden, reports LETA.
The total value of furniture, exported to other countries, apart from the above mentioned ones, was LVL 10.14 million.
