Print versionA logistics center for Latvian food products will be developed near the Russian capital city of Moscow, LETA was informed by the Agriculture Ministry's press and public relations department.

On July 31, Agriculture Minister of Latvia Janis Duklavs was on an official visit to Moscow, where he met with Russian Agriculture Minister Yelena Skrinnik to discuss cooperation possibilities in the agriculture sector.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the possibility of selling Latvian food products in border areas with Russia, and agreed to develop a logistics center for Latvian food products near Moscow.
Russia is one of Latvia's most important trade partners.
