Tanker Elandra Falcon joins fleet under technical supervision of LSC Shipmanagement

LSC Shipmanagement (LSCSM), a subsidiary of Latvijas Kugnieciba shipping company, in South Korea today added the tanker Elandra Falcon to the fleet under its technical supervision, the shipping company’s representatives told LETA.

The new tanker Elandra Falcon has been built for shipping oil products. The vessel is 268.25 meters long and its deadweight capacity is 157,000 tons.


The Elandra Falcon has been built by South Korean company Sundong Shipbuilding LTD and is the second tanker provided to LSCSM this year. On April 19, the tanker Elandra Eagle joined the fleet managed by LSCSM.


Latvijas Kugnieciba Group owns 16 vessels in the segments of medium-size and handy tankers, employing 1,300 seamen from Latvia. In addition to that, LSCM also manages nine other ships, thus operating a fleet of 25 ships. The average age of the Latvijas Kugnieciba fleet is nine years.
