Rigas Satiksme municipal transport company sees number of passengers drop 6% in February

Print versionRigas Satiksme, the municipal public transport company of the Latvian capital city, carried 11 million passengers this February, down 6.3% from the same month a year ago and 6 percent fewer than in January 2017, the company said LETA/BNS.

The highest number of passengers, 713,438 people, were carried on tram line 6. Also, 681,654 people were carried on bus line 3 and 593,527 on trolleybus line 15.
Fully owned by the Riga City Council, Rigas Satiksme provides bus, tram and trolleybus services to passengers in Riga.
