Tallink's Riga-Stockholm ferries to berth at Vartahamnen too

Starting Tuesday, Jan. 24, all Tallink and Silja Line branded vessels calling in Stockholm will use the new and modern Vartahamnen harbor, which means that also the ships of the Riga-Stockholm route will relocate there from Frihamnen harbor, Tallink said LETA/BNS.

Both the Riga-Stockholm ferries, Romantika and Isabelle, have already successfully tested the berths of the new harbor complex.

Lembit Kitter, board member of AS Tallink Grupp, described the new modern port facility at Vartahamnen, Stockholm as a great departure and arrival gate for the four routes Tallink Grupp operates to Stockholm.

"It also makes it easier for our passengers to associate this one port with our ships and find the way there easily," Kitter said.

The company has requested passengers to be mindful of the new port address when heading to the vessels Isabelle and Romantika. The other Tallink vessels sailing to Stockholm - Victoria I and Baltic Queen of the Tallinn-Stockholm route, Silja Symphony and Silja Serenade of the Helsinki-Stockholm route, and Baltic Princess and Galaxy of the Turku-Stockholm route - have been mooring at Vartahamnen already for several years.

Also the company office of Tallink Silja AB will be moving to the new Vartahamnen terminal building this week.
