Estonia's regional airports to receive 242 mln kroons

Print versionThe minister of economic affairs and communications of Estonia Juhan Parts signed a financing decision, allocating 242 million kroons from the European Regional Development Fund for regional airports.

Airports in Kärdla, Kuressaare, Ruhnu and Tartu will receive this money, writes the National Broadcasting/LETA.
The funds will be used to extend the airport flight track in Kuressaare, to renovate the buildings servicing passengers in Kärdla and Tartu and building a weather-resistant flight track in Ruhnu.
The completion of the works is planned for the end of the year 2010.
