Tallinn airport's passenger numbers reduced by 0.5% on in January y-o-y

Print versionThe airport of Tallinn served more than 127,000 passengers in January 2016, 0.5% less than in the same month last year, reports LETA/BNS.

According to marketing director of the airport operator Tallinna Lennujaam Eero Pargmae, the reason behind the small decline was the decreased number of charter flights to the season's main tourist destination Egypt.
Regular direct flights to 23 different destinations took place in January, the most popular of which was the Tallinn-Stockholm route with up to 9 flights a day, followed by Helsinki with up to six and Riga with up to four flights a day.
