In August 2009, passengers will be able to enter the new premises of Klaipeda bus station. The new bus station is being erected together with the building's co-owner Palink, manager of IKI retail trade centers in Lithuania, which will install a trade center alongside the passenger service premises. Palink will finance the establishment of commercial premises from its own finances.

In line with the agreement between Klaipedos Autobusu Parkas (Klaipeda Bus Park) and Palink, construction work is entrusted to the building company Vikstata, which has erected an analogical object, a bus station with a trade center in Kedainiai, informs ELTA.

The erection of the new bus station is financed with a bank loan and the finances of the company. The estimated costs total 3.6 million litas (1.05 million euros). 80 percent are financed by the bank Swedbank. The loan is granted in euros.
