Ektornet sells a shopping centre in Liepaja for EUR 4.5 mln

In explaining the acquisition of immovable property, SIA Lielas ielas centrs owners emphasize that the company has set an objective to strengthen the positions of the shopping centre “Kurzeme”, making it the leading mall in Liepaja. New owners are planning to attract several widely known and international store brands, as well as to modernise the shopping centre. It is planned that the total investments in the development of the shopping centre will amount to EUR 500,000.
“We are gratified for the successfully closed transaction and convinced that the new owners will continue managing the shopping centre successfully. This transaction also proves that local investors obtain an even more significant role in the market”, as emphasized by Andris Kovaļčuks, Chairperson of the Board at Ektronet.
The shopping centre “Kurzeme” is located in the very centre of the city, next to Rožu Square. It is surrounded by local government institutions, university, and buildings of a commercial nature.
The most known tenants of the shopping centre are Maxima, Sportland, NS King, Douglas, Narvesen, Jahonts, Golden Saga, Zvaigzne ABC, Euroaptieka, Norvik Banka, Lauma Lingerie, V.O.V.A, Stenders, Cipollino, Dzintars, Zoo Centrs, Daniele Donati, Meta, as well as “Barons Bumbiers” restaurant beloved by city dwellers.
The property includes a parcel of land of 3544 m2, on which the four-storey shopping centre with the total area of 9287.1 m2 is located. The mall is easy to reach by both public and private transport.
