Skonto stadium in Riga purchased officially for EUR 35 mln

Print versionEntered into the State Land Register is the late-September 2014 purchase of the Skonto Stadium complex in Riga, which went to the MANI Group, owned and operated by the Rudzitis family, who deal in real estate, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

Stadium plus surrounding land property was sold for 35 million euro, which is more than twice as much as the purchase price this past summer, when the Reverta company sold the complex and land to former Skonto Football Club President Vladimir Kolesnicenko and his enterprise SSA for 13.8 million euro.
Reverta spokesperson Marita Ozolina pointed out to LETA that the stadium complex already in the summer went for an amount higher than the market price. "Reverta not only recovered the loan issued, it made much more in addition," she said.
