Soviet-era apartment prices in Riga grew by 2.9% in December

Print versionCompared to December 2012, the average price of Soviet-era apartments in Riga increased by 2.9% to EUR 600 per square meter in December 2013, according to the latest market overview by the real estate company Latio, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.
In comparison with November 2013, the average price of Soviet-era apartments in Riga reduced 0.8% in December 2013.
Latio representative Vija Gailite predicts that there will be no considerable changes on the market of Soviet-era apartments this year and their prices will remain at the current level.
In December 2013, the prices of quality Soviet-era apartments in Riga's most popular suburbs, such as Purvciems, Plavnieki, Zolitude, Imanta and Ziepniekkalns ranged from EUR 23,000 to EUR 29,000 for one-room apartments, from EUR 30,000 to EUR 39,000 for two-room, from EUR 37,000 to EUR 47,000 for three-room, and from EUR 43,000 to EUR 50,000 for four-room apartments.
