Linstow Center Management confirmed reported yesterday that in October 2012, a Re&Re-built roof had collapsed in Riga's "Alfa" Mall over the "Bik Bok" store – 90 square meters, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

Linstow explained the accident had two stages. Early October 5, a fierce storm tore away a section of the mall's facade, and, as a result, the night of October 6, the roof caved-in.

This fact was first revealed on Internet by an "Alfa employee", who describes a cover-up on the part of management at "Alfa", and "orders" for tight lips and threats of firing if any information is leaked. The anonymous employee, a woman, says that "Bik Bok" was "wiped out", and the entire mall wing flooded.

In response as to why this accident was not reported, Linstow points to the fact that it had occurred after business hours, and that no one was injured. The cause of the cave-in was a clogged drainage tube, according to Linstow.
