Valsts nekustamie ipasumi has suspended all talks with SBRE on paying LVL 220,900 for liquidating the consequences of the fire.

SBRE has also been informed that, according to its contract with Valsts nekustamie ipasumi, the cleanup costs should be covered by SBRE or insurance companies.

Taking into account experts' initial data, Valsts nekustamie ipasumi has concluded that the fire broke out at a renovation site for which SBRE was responsible.

The contract on the reconstruction and renovation of Riga Castle stipulates that SBRE holds full responsibility for its renovation site.

Valsts nekustamie ipasumi has also tasked SBRE with continuing the liquidation of the consequences of the fire according to the previously harmonized plan and instructions from the State Inspection for Heritage Protection.
