Insolvency claim filed against Skonto Buve builder

An insolvency claim has been filed against Skonto Buve construction company with the Zemgale District Court in Latvia, writes LETA, according to the information published by the Insolvency Administration.

The Zemgale District Court plans to hear the insolvency claim on July 2.


Skonto Buve was registered in 1995, and has a share capital of EUR 4,279,393. The company belongs to Skonto Construction (95 percent) that indirectly belongs to Guntis Ravis and M Investiciju Fonds (5 percent), according to Firmas.lv.


Skonto Buve posted EUR 31.149 million in turnover in the financial year that lasted from November 1, 2015, until October 31, 2016, down 3.9 times year-on-yer, while the company’s profit declined 4.1 times to EUR 1.479 million.


Eko Osta, registered in 1999, has a share capital of EUR 2,151,737. The company’s largest owner is Andrejs Laskovs (95 percent).


In 2016, Eko Osta posted EUR 4.185 million in turnover, down 5.9 percent from 2015, while the company’s profit dropped 2.1 times to EUR 173,568.
