Price of Tallinn apartments increased by 8.7% in October

During the month 866 apartments in Tallinn changed hands and the combined
value of the transactions was 84.9 million euros. In the same month last year
transactions numbered 800 and their total value was 72.5 million euros.
The median price of Tallinn apartments was 1,706 euros, 10.6% higher than
in October 2016.
Apartment prices elsewhere in Estonia increased 17.2% year over year to 750
euros.
During the month 1,136 apartments outside of Tallinn changed hands and the
combined value of the transactions was 51.5 million euros. In the same month
last year transactions numbered 1,001 and their total value was 36.9 million
euros.
In September the average price of apartments in Tallinn increased 3.3% to
1,755 euros, while the average price of apartments outside Tallinn rose 14% to
710 euros.
