First-stage of Riga Castle renovation will be completed by November 1

Print versionThe first-stage of renovation and restoration works at Riga Castle will be completed on time – by November 1, the CEO at the state joint-stock real estate management company Valsts nekustamie ipasumi (VNI) Martins Tols told the LNT television channel today, cites LETA.

He said that the construction companies on the job have confirmed to him that the construction works will be completed in time.
According to Tols, approximately 90% of the first-stage of renovation/restoration have been completed. He said that the castle's White Hall, Presidential Offices, and other rooms have regained their past splendor.
Tols also said that the final restoration works are the most complicated and expensive, as they involve the restoration of interior design details.
