Latvian Mass Media Council permits Jekabpils television to broadcast Ukrainian TV programs

Print versionThe National Electronic Mass Media Council decided today to permit Vidusdaugavas televizija to broadcast three Ukrainian television programs. The council also granted the permission to Telepark IPTV, the council's representatives informed the business portal Nozare.lv, cites LETA.

The National Electronic Mass Media Council decided today to grant a broadcasting permission to Vidusdaugavas televizija. The permission applies to three Ukrainian television programs – 24 TV, Espresso TV and Telechannel OE.
Meanwhile, Telepark IPTV received permission to broadcast the said television programs in Latvia on the Internet.
Vidusdaugavas televizija has been active in Jekabpils since 1999.
Telepark IPTV was registered in 2013, Carnikava County, according to information provided by "Firmas.lv".
