Lithuanian and Taiwanese businessmen discuss cooperation

Businessmen from Taiwan paid a reciprocal visit to Lithuania on Tuesday and discussed cpoperation prospects with the local counterparts, informs LETA/ELTA.

During the visit, the Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts signed a memorandum of mutual cooperation with the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association. Taiwanese businessmen visited Lithuania's pharmaceutical companies as well as aircraft and components maintenance companies.

 

Lithuania's interests in the business forum were represented by heads of IT, transport and logistics companies, highly qualified specialists, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists, non-profit organisation Invest Lithuania, and Vilnius Chamber of Trade, Industry and Crafts.

 

The visitors' delegation was comprised of members of the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association, Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, representatives of the banking sector and industrialists.
