Russian company buys owner of Estonian Piletilevi ticket sellers

Print versionRussian company Kassir.ru bought the Baltic Ticket Holdings, the owner firm of the Estonian ticket sales company Piletilevi, the majority of which so far belonged to investment company LHV Capital, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

Kassir.ru is part of the concern PMI, which is the partner of the world's leading entertainment company Live Nation in Russia, Ukraine and Byelorussia.
Buying the leader of the Baltic states ticket market is part of the plan of market expansion by Kassir.ru. This year the company expanded to Ukraine and next will expand to Byelorussia.
Piletilevi, that has operated for 16 years in Estonia, said that the change of owners won't cause any changes in the work services or strategy.
This year, Kassir.ru has in St Petersburg sold over 3,000 tickets to concerts taking place in Estonia.
Baltic Ticket Holdings owns Piletilevi, Bilesu Serviss in Latvia and Bilietu Pasaulis in Lithuania. Piletilevi has 136 sales venues in Estonia.
