The CPB chief informed the committee members about the bureau's five-month results, and mentioned that one of the main problems at the moment is corruption within the healthcare sector, writes LETA.
Strelcenoks said that corruption has been observed in procurements, as well as in relations between doctor and patient, and in relations between healthcare officials or doctors and medicine distributors. In the near future, the CPB will also make public information about a recent corruption incident within the sector.
