Chinese aviation company Hainan Airlines is holding talks with Tallinn Airport to establish a direct flight connection between China and Estonia, LETA/Postimees writes.

The negotiations are serious, said Enterprise Estonia representative in China Valle Feldmann. Hainan Airlines flies now for example to Moscow, St Petersburg, Berlin, Budapest and Brussels.

Tallinn Airport board member Erik Sakkov said that the airport cannot reveal the names of aviation companies that they are holding talks with. He added that negotiations are an ongoing process for the airport and they are held with several aviation firms.
