BC, Riga , 30.11.2020.Print version
Riga East University Hospital currently has vacancies for 140 doctors or 13% of the total number of doctors in the hospital, and 120 nurses or 7%, reported LETA.
Riga East University Hospital is the main hospital treating Covid-19 patients. Almost half of all hospitalized Covid-19 patients in the country are treated there. Thus, with the increasing number of Covid-19 patients, the hospital needs more staff.
As reported, the hospital plans to attract medical students and volunteers in order to ensure its functions, said the hospital's board chairman Imants Paeglitis earlier.
