Print versionKuldigas Tekstils textile company has suspended its operations for a period of ten days because several employees have contracted Covid-19, Kuldiga local municipality's spokeswoman Kristine Dulbinska told LETA.

According to the information provided by Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC), this week there were 27 new Covid-19 cases reported in Kuldiga, all related with Kuldigas Tekstils.
CDC has established the contacts of the infected people who are now in self-isolation, not going to work or an education institution. Family physicians have also been informed. There are some pupils and employees from education institutions among the contacts.
On Thursday, all employees of Saules Ieleja 3, a company operating in the same building as Kuldigas Tekstils, were tested, but all tests came out negative.
