Rigas Dzirnavnieks intends to buy up to 150,000 tons of grain: wheat, rye and oat which the company will use to make its products. Rigas Dzirnavnieks started the grain purchases at the end of July. 

The company informed that this week Rigas Dzirnavnieks received the first portion of Herkuless Baltic, an oat variety created in cooperation with Finland's leading grain farming institute as a gift on Latvia's centenary. 

According to information available at Firmas.lv, during the last fiscal year which lasted from July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019, Rigas Dzirnavnieks turned over EUR 23.565 million and sustained a loss of EUR 415,575.

Rigas Dzirnavnieks was established in October 1991, the company's share capital is EUR 6.549 million. The company makes wheat and rye products, flour, flour mixtures, flakes, and other products. Rigas Dzirnavnieks is part of Baltic Mill Group.
