Amber Beverage Group increases its holding in Cellar Trends to 70%

Amber Beverage Group, the leading producer, distributor and retailer of alcoholic beverages in the Baltic states, announced on June 6th that it has increased its holding in Cellar Trends, the UK’s number one independent wine, spirits, beer and associated products distributor to 70%, the company said, cites LETA.

The Marriott and Watts families will continue to hold the remaining shares and there will be no changes to the company’s management.


Cellar Trends was the largest family-controlled distributor of wines, spirits and associated products in the UK. The company serves all sectors of the UK drinks trade in both on and off trade categories with a portfolio of more than 60 international brands. Amber Beverage Group has been its shareholder since early 2017.


SPI Group created Amber Beverage Group by bringing together several Baltic companies - Latvijas Balzams, beverage distributors SPI Distribution Latvia, SPI Distribution Estonia and Bennet Distributors in Lithuania, and also the specialized beverage store chains Latvijas Balzams Veikali in Latvia and Darija in Lithuania.


Amber Beverage Group was founded and is fully owned by Amber Beverage Group Holding S.ar.l.


Amber Beverage Group exports its products to 170 markets worldwide and owns over 130 brands in total.
