Fonterra to have its rep on Lithuanian Rokiskio Suris' board

New Zealand-based Fonterra, the world's largest dairy exporter, is likely to have its representative on the management board of Rokiskio Suris following its acquisition of a 10% stake in the Lithuanian dairy company, informs LETA/BNS.

Rokiskio Suris' shareholders will vote on appointing Paul M. Campbell, director for special projects at Fonterra Co-operative Group, as a management board member at their general meeting scheduled for Dec. 13, the company said in a stock exchange release.


The company also proposes to reappoint its CEO Antanas Trumpa, CFO Antanas Kavaliauskas, Sales and Marketing Director Darius Norkus and Development Director Ramunas Vanagas as members of the management board for another four years.


Dalius Trumpa, the current chairman, would not sit on the new board.


Rokiskio Suris' major shareholders currently include Pieno Pramones Investiciju Valdymas with a 27.08% stake, RSU Holding with 24.84%, Antanas Trumpa with 19.46%, and Fonterra (Europe) Cooperatie with 10%.


The company's shares are quoted the blue-chip Main List of the Nasdaq Vilnius stock exchange.
