MFA invites Kuwaiti businesses to invest in Latvia

Print versionOn 27 September, during the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Foreign Minister of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevics, met with the Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, to discuss bilateral cooperation, cooperation in international organisations and current regional developments, reports BC the Latvian MFA.

Both officials expressed their interest in more intensive bilateral relations and business cooperation, as well as a regular exchange of visits of government officials.
The Latvian Foreign Minister called for Kuwaiti businessmen to invest in Latvia taking into account that the economic potential between Latvia and Kuwait ought to be exploited more.
Edgars Rinkevics invited the Foreign Minister of Kuwait to visit Latvia.
