In late June, the National Commission for Energy Control and Prices approved the project on investment into gas supply to Taurage town and authorised construction of a distribution pipeline to Taurage. The distribution pipeline will run almost 6 km and connect the gas distribution station to Vilkyskiu Pienine AB, situated in the town of Taurage.

According to Gintaras Bertasius, general manager of the dairy, "We believe that as we make this project happen, we help our business grow, and further, we contribute to the benefit of Taurage town. What motivates us to expand right here, without considering moving away, are the new jobs created by our company and other businesses, opportunities to bring new investors to the region, and increasing appeal demonstrated by the industrial area in Taurage".
