Finnish Schetelig sold its Baltic business to Estonians

Print versionFinnish gardening goods wholesales company OY Schetelig Ab sold its business in the Baltic States to its Estonian competitor OÜ Selteret, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

OÜ Selteret today announced of buying all shares of AS Schetelig EV from the Finnish company OY Schetelig Ab. The transaction included also AS Schetelig EV subsidiaries in Latvia and Lithuania.
The transaction comes in force in May 2015. The transaction price was not disclosed.
"By acquiring the Schetelig EV group, we are taking the biggest step in our history – with that transaction we will strengthen our position in Estonia and expand to Latvia and Lithuania," said Karol Kõrm, OÜ Selteret CEO.
