He explained that foreign producers are forcing the locals out of the market, slowly taking over their market share.
As reported, Polish farmers have suffered major losses due to Russia's embargo, which is why Poland has started exporting its produce to other markets, including Latvia.
Meanwhile, as of February, Rimi and "Supernetto" are offering the first Latvian-grown lettuce from the greenhouses of the farm "Ritausma" ("Dawn") in southeastern Latvia.
