BC, Riga, 04.09.2014.Print version
88 out of 213 arbitration courts registered with the Register of Enterprises have failed to observe all legal requirements on such institutions, therefore they have been removed from the register, as the Register of Enterprises press officer Sandra Notruma told LETA.

The said 88 arbitration courts had not observed all the relevant legal requirements, not even after warned by the Register of Enterprises about new provisions included in the Civil Law.

The Register of Enterprises advises all persons and legal entities who are currently in a legal dispute to make sure that their dispute is not being reviewed by one of these 88 arbitration courts. A full list of registered arbitration courts is available at the Register of Enterprises website.

According to the Civil Procedure Law, those courts of arbitration that have been removed from the Register of Enterprises have time until December 31, 2014 to complete review of the cases they are in charge of.
