One of Sudraba's "locomotives" exits party

Print versionBusinessman Viesturs Tamuzs, one of Inguna Sudraba's party's leaders (For Latvia From the Heart) announced today that he is dropping out of the party and will not run in this fall's Saeima election, because of dubious campaign financing, informs LETA.

"To me it is unacceptable that the party is funded by sources unknown, that the party's board is provided no information about where financing is coming from. Also, key party decisions are made not by the board but by Inguna Sudbraba and her consultants - a multilingual bunch calling themselves 'businessmen'."
Tamuzs wished well to the party members, who with their "honest ideals and efforts to better the nation are still in Sudraba's ranks." He also wished for them to realize "the real rules of the game.".
