		Estonian government sets minimum wage at 355 euros in 2014

Print versionThe Estonian government decided on Thursday that starting 2014, employers are allowed to pay a minimum of 2.13 euros an hour to employees and the monthly minimum payment rate for full-time work is 355 euros, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

Starting January 1, 2015, the minimum hourly rate will be 2.34 euros and monthly rate 390 euros.
The corresponding agreement was signed by labour market bodies in the middle of September.
According to the currently valid decree, the minimum wage is 1.90 euros an hour and 320 euros a month.
