Estonia translates 150 of 400 laws into English

A total of 57 legislative acts have been translated from Estonian into English so far this year, bringing the number of up-to-date translations of the nearly 400 country's laws to 150, the Estonian national broadcasting corporation ERR reports referring to a statement made by the Justice Ministry.

The acts on the state gazette Riigi Teataja's English page have legal force only in their Estonian versions, according to the ministry's report, writes LETA.

 

The Justice Ministry has set the goal of preparing up-to-date translations all of the close to 400 legislative acts in Estonia by 2015.
