Print versionThe courts of Lithuania began to consider the legality of construction of the National Stadium in Vilnius, Radio Vilnius reported.

A prosecutor asked to revoke the building permits for the reason that the Municipality of a capital adhered to requirements of the fire department and the environmental protection department.
Though administration of Vilnius insists that building permits were legally acquired.
Construction of the stadium is planned to be completed by December 2010.
The cost of constructing the stadium amounts 450 million litas.
