Face masks will become mandatory at all events – both indoor and outdoor – in Lithuania as of Friday, August 21st, reports LETA/BNS.
According to the country's Health Minister Aurelijus Veryga, who is leading the efforts to contain the virus, the requirement will apply to both sports and also cultural and entertainment events.
Up until now, masks have not been required at outdoor events, as well as at indoor events when a two-meter distance is ensured for the audience.
Based on Veryga's order, a distance of at least one meter will have to be ensured as of Friday and masks will be mandatory.
