"Migration is still the priority of Estonia's EU presidency and we want to move on with initiatives directed at finding solutions to the migration crisis. Moreover, it is important to assure balance in the positions of member states in all decisions," Mikser was quoted by spokespeople as saying.

Kurz is in Estonia in connection with Thursday's informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Tallinn. According to the two ministers, bilateral relations are good and the development of trade relations is also positive.

They also discussed Brexit, regarding which Estonia's main goal as EU presidency holder is to retain the unity of the member states. They also discussed the relationship between the European Union and Turkey, regarding which Estonia considers important that dialogue is kept open between the EU and Turkey.
