In accordance with the Development Cooperation Policy Plan for 2015, funding in the amount of EUR 70,000 has been allocated for the grant competition on development cooperation projects in partnership with Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.

Under Section 9 paragraph 5 of the Law on International Assistance, grants may be received by direct and indirect institutions of public administration, local governments, other government institutions, as well as associations, foundations, businessmen, and trade unions. A grant cannot be received by political parties or political associations.

The deadline for submission is 17.00 on 28 April 2015.

The Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will evaluate the project applications before 1 June, and information on the winners will be published on the MFA website.
