Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund revenues to exceed costs with 35 mln in 2015

Print versionAt its Tuesday meeting, the Unemployment Insurance Fund in Estonia council approved the Fund 2015 budget, where revenues exceed costs with 35 million euros, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.

The Unemployment Insurance Fund expenditures in 2015 are planned to be 143.5 million euros and revenues 178 million euros.
According to the forecast, 97.6 million euros will be collected from insurance payments to the employees fund and 52.5 mln euros to employers fund.
The budget prescribes 42.6 mln euros for unemployment insurance benefits, 8.7 million euros for redundancy benefits and 4.9 million in benefits for the employer's insolvency.
The amount of social tax on benefits is 10 million euros. The Unemployment Insurance Fund operating expenses are budgeted at 22.1 million euros.
36.4 mln euros is planned for social services, including European Social Fund’s 3.3 million euros.
