Port of Tallinn's cargo grew by 5.4% in November y-o-y

The biggest cargo group was in November liquid cargo with 1.35 million tonnes, which is by 2.7% more than a year ago. The volume of cargo transported in containers was 171,100 tonnes, a growth of 8.2%. The volume of ro-ro cargo grew by 3.9% to 346,700 and the volume of solid bulk goods grew by 20.4% to 384,800 tonnes.
In 11 months, the company's cargo volumes have stayed unchanged from last year at 25.866 million tonnes. The biggest cargo group was liquid cargo with 17.2 million tonnes, a fall by 0.7% while transport of solid bulk goods fell 14.8% to 2.5 million tonnes. The number of cargo containers was 243,328 TEU, a growth of 3.2% while the volume of cargo transported in containers grew by 12.1% to 1.8 million tonnes.
In 11 months, the ports serviced 8.85 million passengers, a growth by 4.3% as compared to the same time last year. In November, the passenger number was 652,600, a fall of 1.2% in a year.
