Lithuania's export leaders program Wings becomes No.1 in the world

The program ranked best among export initiatives in the developed countries category in the Excellence in Export Initiatives Awards.
On 3-5 November, in Dubai (UAE), in the 10th annual conference Wings was recognized as the best young leaders program and won the first place. It was presented to the leaders of trade promotion organizations as well as experts from all around the world.
The Wings program aims at providing perspective graduates form Lithuanian and foreign higher education institutions with knowledge and experience in business enterprises. There are 16 professionally selected young export leaders in the program. They apply the principal of rotation and currently work in over 40 small and medium-sized enterprises in Lithuania. Participants get acquainted with the best practices in business and its promotion, export development management, marketing, etc., and are guided by professional mentors.
Versli Lietuva initiated the program in 2013 with regard to the needs of business representatives and young, talented higher education graduates.
