LG Electronics turns over EUR 81.3 mln in 2013

Electronics retailer LG Electronics increased its turnover by 10% in 2013, according to information provided by Firmas.lv, cites LETA/Nozare.lv.

In 2013, LG Electronics turnover was EUR 81.3 million, up from EUR 74.24 million in 2012. The company's profit reduced by 49% – from EUR 791,505 in 2012 to EUR 402,032 in 2013.

 

LG Electronics management report indicates that in 2013, the company began selling new products. Corresponding to the economic situation, the company's wholesale market increased last year thanks to the manufacture of new products. This facilitated sales volumes and increase in the company's turnover.

 

This year, LG Electronics plans to increase turnover by 4-9%, focusing on strategically important product groups, such as mobile phones, LCD televisions, and washing machines.

 

The company plans to stabilize its positions in the Baltic region, increase its sales volumes and continue investing into the company's long-term assets.

 

LG Electronics was founded on June 15, 2006. The company's share capital is EUR 4,099,999. LG Electronics is a subsidiary of South Korean company LG Electronics Inc.
