Alexela Oil earns profit in 2013 after several years

After six consecutive loss-generating years, Estonia car fuel retailer Alexela Oil earned a profit again in 2013, LETA/Postimees Online cites the company's annual financial statements.

In 2013, the company earned a profit of exactly one million euros compared to a loss of 0.138 million in 2012. Before this, Alexela was profitable in 2006 most recently.

 

Alexela Oil had a turnover of 134 million euros in 2013, which is the same as in 2012.

 

"Thanks to the systematic sales work and additional resources, the number of new and active customers increased considerably," the company wrote in the economic report.

 

Alexela Oil has the largest Estonian unmanned petrol stations chain, 55 out of its 60 petrol stations are automated.
