Centre of New Pharmaceutical and Health Technologies opened in Kaunas

On Tuesday, the Centre of New Pharmaceutical and Health Technologies in Santaka Valley was opened in Kaunas. The more effective drugs will be developed in the laboratories equipped with the latest scientific technologies, reports LETA/ELTA.

Moreover, the workers will be searching for the organic compounds and will be carrying out the biopharmaceutical researches. The results of the researches will be used in the medical practice introducing the new diagnostic methods and improving existing ones.

 

Minister of Education and Science Dainius Pavalkis highlighted that the perfect conditions for the science-business cooperation were created in the new centre.

 

According to Pavalkis, the aim of the Centre of New Pharmaceutical and Health Technologies and all other projects of valleys was to create and to apply the innovations in the practice and to bring the science and business together.

 

While delivering the congratulatory speech, Minister of Social Security and Labour Algimanta Pabedinskiene rejoiced at the new workplaces of a great economic value.

 

"I have no doubt that the Centre of New Pharmaceutical and Health Technologies will become the reason for the young specialists () to stay in their country and to generate the added value here," said Pabedinskiene.
