Lithuania and Belarus to cooperate in sectors of woodworking, construction, agriculture

Print versionIn the meeting of Business Council for Economic and Trade Cooperation between Belarus and Lithuania, which was taking place in Minks, the special attention was given to the promotion of the investors' cooperation in both countries – first of all, the strategic investment projects such as woodworking, construction and agriculture sectors, informs LETA/ELTA.

The memorandum on investment projects worth EUR 130 million was signed. The most important project was to become the Lithuania's companies Capital City intention to build a sport, recreation, shopping, and entertainment centre and convert a manufacturing base into a multifunctional facility in Minsk.
During the sitting, the perspectives of the further development of the bilateral good and service trade as well as the advantage of the both countries' transport logistics and the business risk prohibition in Belarus were discussed.
The meeting was attended by 120 businessmen from Belarus and Lithuania and more than 60 representatives of various Lithuania's business spheres.
