Lithuanian company Audimas, manufacturer of sportswear and leisure clothing, has decided to return to the Latvian market. It opens its first shop in Domina shopping centre in Riga, informs LETA/ELTA.

Jurgita Budiene, CEO of Audimas, says that the company is entering neighbouring markets seeking to maintain and increase the supply of sportswear.

"Taking into account the situation of Latvia and other Baltic countries we see potential for business development and expansion," said Budiene.

Over the next few years the company plans to launch four shops in Latvia and create around 20 jobs. All shops will be set-up according to the new Audimas' retail network concept. LTL 500,000 (EUR 145,000) will be devoted to set-up each shop.

In Lithuania Audimas introduced its new retail concept in October 2013.

The company made the decision after analyzing the markets, modern technology and taking into consideration its longstanding experience. The new concept is projected to be implemented consistently in two years.
