Marju Koivupuu from TU Estonian Institute of Humanities named Citizen of the Year

Marju Kõivupuu, a senior research fellow of ethnoculture in Tallinn University Estonian Institute of Humanities, has been named Citizen of the Year, Tallinn Univeristy's press service said in a statement, cites LETA.

Kõivupuu was chosen from among 13 candidates by the Citizen of the Year election committee.

 

Marju Kõivupuu has formerly worked as docent in the Faculty of Philology of Tallinn University and in University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy.

 

She is the co-author and consultant of many television- and radio shows about Estonian language and culture.
