FDI to Estonia grew by 19% in 2013

Print versionThe number of projects created with the support of foreign direct investments grew by 19% last year, in the year-on-year comparison, appeared from a survey by Ernst & Young, writes LETA/National Broadcasting.

In Lithuania, the number of investments fell by 7% and in Latvia by 50% during the same period of time.
Last year also improved slightly Estonia’s position in the overall top list. In comparison with the year 2011, Estonia rose from 29th place to 25th in terms of the number of projects created with foreign direct investments. In the top list of jobs created as a result of FDIs, Estonia improved its ranking from 30th to 29th.
