Shipping and logistics company DFDS owned by Holding rented a Coraggio ferry which will join the DFDS Baltic Sea ferries since the first quarter of 2014 and will boost the capacity on the ferry link Klaipeda – Karlshamn (Sweden), informs LETA/ELTA, referring to Vakaru ekspresas.

Coraggio ferry, which is leased by DFDS for five years with the option to extend the lease term, is of the same type as Victoria Seaways and Regina Seaways. These modern and efficient ferries sail on the route Klaipeda – Kiel (Germany).

Since the first quarter of 2014 the new ferry will replace other Baltic Sea ferries during their repair period. Later on, it will replace Liverpool Seaways ferry which sails on the route of Klaipeda – Karlshamn, and Liverpool Seaways will be moved to another route.
