Cemex increased turnover by 40.9% in 2011

Print versionConstruction materials producer Cemex posted LVL 53.36 million in turnover last year, bettering the company's 2010 results by 40.9%, according to information on Firmas.lv.

In 2010, the company's turnover was LVL 37.88 million.
Cemex losses last year amounted to LVL 4.54 million, which is substantially less than in 2010, when the company posted LVL 16.2 million in losses, informs LETA.
The company's gross earnings in 2011 reached LVL 10.9 million, which is a three-fold increase in 2010.
Cemex is a building materials producer that operates in more than 50 countries of the world.
Cemex launched operations in Latvia in 2005, and currently employs approximately 300 people in the country.
